Serves - 1 person
Ingredients -
  • Full egg- 1
  • Egg white- 1 portion
  • Oil- 1 tsp
  • Salt to taste
For The toppings -
  • Finely chopped onion- ¼ no
  • Green capsicum chopped- ¼ no
  • Chopped mushrooms- ¼ no
  • Finely chopped tomato- ¼ no
  • Finely chopped green chili- 1
  • Oil- 1 tsp
Method -
For the toppings -
  • In a pan, heat the oil and sauté the onions, capsicums, mushrooms, and green chili for 1 minute. Add the tomatoes and cook again. Keep aside.
How to proceed -
  • Beat the whole egg and egg white for 2 to 3 minutes or until the mixture is thick and frothy.
  • Heat the oil in a pan. Add the beaten egg and cook for a few minutes. Then add the cooked vegetables in the centre of the omelette. Fold the omelette into half.
  • Serve hot with whole wheat bread.
