Serves - 1 person
Ingredients -
  • Chopped apple- 1 no
  • Milk- 1 ½ cup
  • Fresh dates- 2 no
  • Dry date powder- 2 tsp
For the Garnish -
  • Chopped walnut- 2 no
  • Apple slices- 2
Method -
  • Combine the apples, dry date powder and 2 TB of water in a non-stick pan and cook over a medium flame for 2 to 3 minutes, while stirring continuously. Refrigerate to chill.
  • Combine the milk, chopped dates in a deep non-stick pan, mix well and simmer for 10 minutes while stirring continuously. Refrigerate to chill.
  • Just before serving add the cooked apples to the milk-dates mixture and mix gently.
  • Serve chilled garnished with walnuts and apples.
